Since 1970, SIAAP has been the central authority for water treatment in Paris region (8 million inhabitants today, including 180 cities and town all in all). Every day, 3 million cubic meters of water are treated in 4 plants. SIAAP employs 1600 people, and the annual budget exceeds 1 billion euros.
Provide Up To Date And Validated Quality Documentation
In order to manage quality documentation in the most efficient way, including version control and validation workflows, SIAAP installed Ennov document management module in a first site. Within a short period of time procedures, operating modes and standard forms were handled in the system and easily available to all authorized personnel. The system was then installed on two additional sites to meet similar requirements, while respecting the specifics of each operating unit.
Ennov5 Doc: An Integrated Management System For Quality, Security And Environment
Early in 2007, SIAAP decided to migrate to Ennov5 platform and to harmonize best practices and reference documentation between the different sites. After merging the three databases, removing duplicates and optimizing the set up (including index fields to ease search), the new document management system for SIAAP is now operational.
