Ennov5 Doc manages reference documents that should be consulted and applied throughout the company. Our content management capabilities range from collaborative authoring of documents to complete management of approval and distribution processes. Former documents are automatically archived so to ensure the only information available is updated and validated.
Ennov5 Doc is a content management application which allows every employee in the organization to view the latest version of validated documents that they need for their business tasks. Ennov5 Doc accepts all document formats which makes it the tool of choice to manage quality documentation (texts and graphics), technical documentation (including 2D and 3D files), marketing documentation (including multimedia documents) or the company knowledge base.
In Ennov5 Doc, a document is made of a customized ID form and an attachment. So along with reading the document, one can view the usual index information (title, reference, author(s), application date, topic, etc.) but also the history of successive versions and the comments placed by the readers for the author.
Ennov5 Doc strong point lays in the ease of customization. It makes the implementation possible in a matter of weeks. The personnel in charge of administrating Ennov5 Doc can master the necessary features in a 2 day training session. Through functional administration, Ennov gives them control on:

The search for documents (hierarchal, full text or multi-criteria) and the browsing are so intuitive they require no training. They are available on each workstation in web mode (with any web browser). Browsing is often made easier by the customization of navigators according to the readers' profile.
Last, Ennov5 interacts well with your IT environment: it can become a section of your Intranet, run on your Documentum platform, import data from your ERP or any other data base and export XML data to your information system.
